 BODACIOUS GORDON

ASSOC REGISTRATION NUMBER
IBGA I-97-323-104 SA

Gordon is a full blood South African and the oldest buck still being used in our program. This tremendous individual has been as successful in the show ring as he has been in the field. An extremely sound buck for his age, look for Gordon to pass his substance on to his kid crop. Gordon is a son of Balson Miambili, who was bred by JC Venter, and is out of Balson Mira, bred by Faan Hartzer. Last year, while being inspected by three South African judges, his breed correctness and soundness were well noted.

In 2001, as a four year-old Gordon was 1st place at the Alabama Spring Show, 2nd place at the Nationals (for 30 minutes he stood in 1st place, in a class of only three), he was 1st place and Senior Reserve Champion at Mercer County, 2nd place in Lebanon Tennessee, 1st place at the Alabama Fall Festival and 2nd place at the NAILE.

Daughter, WF Miss Kami was the 1st place 20-24 Month Percentage and the Reserve Champion at the 2003 IBGA Eastern Regionals. In 2002, his kids have also shined, having sired the Champion at the KDMGPA Spring, Alabama Spring, Mercer County, Kentucky State Fair, Whetstone Farm Show, and the Foothills Classic.

In 2004, daughter WF Gina was the Overall Grand Champion Percentage Doe at Mercer County Fair, along with other top honors the entire year, including Top 10 at IBGA Nationals. Gordon's daughters continue to make some of our best brood does.

Gordon has continued to make his mark through his daughters and granddaughters. We still have several of his daughters in the herd. We see the lasting power with strength of feet and legs that this buck can bring back into a program.
