Suemo has been 13 times Grand or Reserve Champion. Having won his class at the 2002 ABGA Nationals in the 18-24 Month Buck class, he then went on to win the 2002 Whetstone Farm Show being named the Champion Yearling and Grand Champion Overall Buck. Traveling on to the Indiana State Fair, he was the Reserve Champion Overall Buck and was again awarded Reserve Champion Overall Buck and Reserve Champion Senior at the Foothills Classic. This past year he was the 1st place 2-3 Year-Old Buck and Reserve Champion Senior Buck at the 2003 IBGA Eastern Regionals in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was also 1st place and Champion Senior Buck at the Mercer County Fair.
Suemo now has a long record of producing winners. In 2006 we have continued to see many Suemo daughters wining 1st and Yearling Grand at Bell County, 1st place, Yearling Grand and Overall Full Blood Doe at Mammoth Cave; 1st place, Yearling Grand and Overall Full Blood at McCracken County, along with numerous top 5 placings. Suemo has produced kids who have won in 2004, including WFBM Miss Suemo S135, who was 2nd place 3-6 month Full Blood doe kid at the 2004 Kentucky State Fair. Other notable kids include WF Phoenix, WFBM Mr. Suemo S10, WFBM Miss Suemo S66 SA and WFBM Miss Suemo R252. We now know that his daughters are crossing well with a variety of sires. Suemo is the Grandsire of Mr. Bear T36 who won several shows in 2006. This buck adds overall size and capacity.
Suemo is a grandson of Kaptein and is out of a straight "Codi PCI" doe by a Vorster bred buck tracing back to the sire of Mojo Magic. Offering a tremendous hind leg, coupled with length, thickness and plenty of breed character, this buck can tighten and thicken. His first crop of kids is also making its mark in the show ring, proving his potential as a homozygous herd sire, with a strong phenotype. We are looking forward to using this buck in our program this year for most of our Full Bloods. ~ Watts Farm
