Kabu is a solid red, full blood South African and is registered with IBGA and ABGA. He produces red, paints and chocolate colors. Kabu is very wide in the front and rear. He is massive in the chest and has big bone structure. These outstanding features are being passed on to his offspring. 

Kabu in previous years has won several local shows and his offspring are winning. He and his kids together have won Best-Of-Herd numerous times. Kabu is now being shown on a limited basis. In 2005, Kabu was shown three times at sanctioned shows and each time was the only non-traditional buck in his class with two first place and one second place finish and was Overall Grand Champion Senior Buck at one show.

We showed several of his offspring in 2005 in ABGA, IBGA and USBGA sanctioned shows with several 1st and 2nd place class finishes in junior and yearling divisions. His daughters in 2005 won three Overall Grand Champions and one Reserve Grand Champions. A paint son placed either 1st or 2nd in 6 out of 10 shows with one Overall Junior Grand Champion. His colorful offspring are consistently finishing in the top of their classes. 

With bloodlines from Tabu, Macho, Shaka Zulu and Powell/Holman, he is undoubtedly a buck that can be a tremendous asset to any breeding program. If color, depth of body, width of chest and overall appeal is what you are looking for, then "Kabu is the buck for you!"
